I have success install this plugin with netbeans 8.0.2-jdk8, plugin ireport 5.5.0, standalone ireport 5.6.0-jdk7 (for add library), on ubuntu 14.04. please be patient, check netbeans.conf and ireport.conf for setting jdk. thx..
